摘   要:

　　显化现象的研究是近二十年来翻译共性研究的焦点之一。基于系统功能语言学的理论视角，本研究设计了一个功能语篇分析模式的显化分析框架，并以其中一个维度(经验功能)为例，讨论显化在“过程”、“参与者”和“环境成分”三个方面在《论语》的英译文本中的表现。分析结果表明:显化的常见手段主要是添加、说明和重构。

A Study on the "explicitation" in Translated Text from the Perspective of Systemic Functional Linguistics

　　Abstract:  

　　The study of “explicitation” in translated text has become one of the important focuses of translation studies in the past two decades. Working within the framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics,this paper investigates the phenomenon of explicitation in English translations of the Confucian Lun Yu (the Analects) by looking at how ,in terms of Transitivity,the Process,the Participant(s) and Circumstance(s) are made explicit in the translated text. It is found that three ways of explicitation are frequently used in the translation: addition,explanation and reconstruction.
